Update drivers and system software

Update your system to resolve any issues that outdated drivers and system software could cause.

  1. Type "Check for updates" in the search bar, and select the Check for Updates system settings app that shows up.
    1. Click the Check for Updates button and let the system download and install any pending updates.
    2. If you are experiencing any hardware or software issues, you can also check for optional updates by clicking Advanced Options
      1. Click Optional Updates
      2. Click Driver Updates
      3. Select the updates you want to install and click Download & Install
  2. If you have any installed but pending updates, you may choose to Restart Now or wait until after business hours for a restart.
