The Microsoft Authenticator app allows you to sign-in to your account that requires Two-Factor verification.
Two-Factor verification is an additional security step that helps protect your account by making it harder for other people to break in.
You can set up Microsoft Authenticator by following these simple steps:
- Download and Install the app
- From your Phone
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app
- Click add account
- Choose "work or school account"
- Click on "Scan QR Code"
- Allow camera access
- From your laptop
- Open a web browser on your computer visit https://aka.ms/mfasetup
- Log in using your Connor Group email address and password. Keep hitting next until you receive your barcode.
- Go back to your phone
- Use your cellphone to scan the barcode and follow prompts.
- After you're finished it should take you to your security info page
- ** Make sure to setup a secondary method to log in.**
- Once the app has been successfully set up, you should get a prompt on your cell phone with the options to Approve or Deny sign-in requests.
